STUDIO POLICIES
EMAIL- Please make sure Dance Concepts has your updated email address on file. Email is our primary mode of communication. Please check your email regularly and please add DanceConceptsDanceStudio@Yahoo.com to your contacts.
ATTENDANCE- Students should strive for perfect attendance year-round. Good attendance is imperative to the growth of our dancers and absences can hold back the entire class. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class. Please email the studio if you will be absent. If a student misses an excessive amount of classes it is at the discretion of the teacher or director to decide if the student is allowed to participate in the annual recital.
CLASS BEHAVIOR- If we feel like any student is being disrespectful in any way to another student, teacher or parent, we will notify the parent and try to rectify the situation. Inappropriate conduct and bullying will not be tolerated and will be grounds for dismissal from the studio. We want everyone to feel respected at Dance Concepts.
HOLIDAYS/VACATIONS/CANCELLATIONS-Dance Concepts generally follows the Braintree Public Schools calendar in regards to school vacations, holidays, and snow days. There are no makeup classes for days that we miss due to weather, holiday, or school vacation.

COMPETITION- Dance Company, Junior Dance Company, and Petite Company may be required to attend at least 1 local competition. Competition teams are also required to take an additional ballet class. Dance Teams members may also be required to participate in local community events.
DANCE CONCEPTS BALLERINA BUCKS- Dancers can purchase Dance Concepts Ballerina Bucks (card) for $20 and keep them at the studio or in their dance bag, and if they forget a water we will punch/sign their card, and it's worth 22 waters. We know that sometimes dancers forget their water or come right from school, so we hope this helps.
